Position Overview
As an Accounts Payable Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the department’s operations, ensuring efficiency, and supporting the team without constant supervision. Your responsibilities will include guiding the staff, evaluating performance, and reviewing key performance indicators (KPIs).
Key Responsibilities
? Coordinate Accounts Payable audit requests and documentation.
? Support Vendor Master and Payment functions.
? Assist in the monthly end process alongside the AP Manager.
? Serve as a liaison with the Business Unit for exception management.
? Manage and direct the Accounts Payable team.
? Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements, including 1099 and unclaimed property.
? Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
? Oversee the printing of local checks and manage cleared checks.
? Handle workflow management and support the AP Manager.
? Participate in and coordinate staff training sessions.
? Update policies and process documentation as needed.
? Manage the queue and daily workloads efficiently.
? Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure timely payables reporting.
? Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
? Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related field, with 4+ years of Accounts Payable experience. (Equivalent education/experience combinations: Associate’s Degree with 8+ years of experience, or High School Diploma with 12+ years of experience).
? Advanced skills in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
? Preferred experience with IFS, FastAP, and Concur.

? Self-starter with high motivation and the ability to multitask.
? Proven ability to manage high production levels and oversee team operations.
? Expertise in exception resolution and team organization.
? Proficient in running reports and presenting results to management.
? In-depth knowledge of payable processes and team structure.

Salary Range

USD $55,000 – $105,000 (depending on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions).
