Part-Time Program Assistant (Remote)

You will be key support for colleagues supporting plaintiffs? employment lawyers across the country through continuing legal education activities, committee and practice group work, and our other programmatic initiatives.

NELA and the Institute seek a detail-oriented and organized self-starter as... our Program Assistant. The Program Assistant is responsible for supporting the administrative aspects of our educational programs. This position regularly interacts with staff members and provides support to NELA members.

This position is 15 hours per week and fully remote. Shift days and hours are negotiable. The Program Assistant works closely with and reports to NELA?s Program Director.

Compensation: $31.25 per hour, 15 hours per week

Additional Benefits: Paid Federal Holidays and annual Professional Development funding.

Job Responsibilities

Continuing Legal Education (CLE):
? Manage applications, fees processes, and reporting for CLE credit and compliance in accordance with state-specific rules and regulations, professional responsibility, and reporting requirements.
? Administer CLE registration and information for program attendees, including sign-in forms, directories of participants, and name badges; and respond to requests for program information.
? Assist with event-related logistics such as collecting and organizing speaker materials, name badges, supplies, signage, etc.
? Coordinate management of NELA?s CLE On-Demand Library with Digital Communications & Technology Manager.

Program Support:
? Other projects as assigned by the Program Director.

Qualifications
? Previous experience in an administrative and/or program support position preferred.
? Exceptional organizational skills, including attention to detail, follow-through, and the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize projects, and meet deadlines.
? Excellent written and oral communication skills in conjunction with a positive, solutions-oriented mindset.
? Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with co-workers and with a variety of people at all levels of the organization, including a strong personal commitment to advancing DEIA efforts.
? Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
? Strong Internet research skills a plus.
? Strong customer service orientation and commitment to providing exceptional service to NELA members, other constituents, and the public.
? Flexibility and willingness to take the initiative on a variety of projects.
