The Wisconsin Union, often referred to as 'the heart and soul' of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, has enhanced the lives of members and visitors since it was founded in 1907. Schedule:
? We work around class schedules and exams. We also accommodate extra curricular obligations if possible.
? Minimum Hour Expectation- 3 shifts a week. Each shift is about 4 to 6 hours long
? MU Markets hours of operation are 7am to 11pm

Salary/Wage Range:
Hourly $15.00 to $15.00

Position Summary/Job Duties:
? Ring up transactions at the registers and assist customers.
? Maintain store?s stock and replace/rotate as needed.
? Help maintain health code requirements and policies.
? Work with a team to improve unit operations and workflow.
? Be knowledgeable in multiple MU Markets units (Peet?s, Badger Market & Daily Scoop).
? All of the dining units at Memorial Union (Peet?s, Badger Market, Daily Scoop) are a team, so you may move around depending on the shift

Qualifications: ? Dedicated and self-starting employee needed. ? Flexible outlook to work at 3 separate units in the Union (Peet?s, Badger Market and Daily Scoop). ? Must be willing and available to work at least one weekend and one closing shift a week ? Food service techniques and knowledge are a plus

Student Status

To be eligible for the Wisconsin Union positions, you must be currently enrolled in a college, university, or highschool (at least 16). It is not permissible to hire a person as a student hourly employee if they are taking credits merely to be eligible for student hourly employment. Review UW Policy 5003- Student Hourly Employment for more information. If school is in break period (summer, spring, winter), applicants must intend to enroll in courses the following semester.
