Requirements

• Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.


• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar.


• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.


• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process.


• Reconcile sales taxes, payroll taxes, 401k, and bank accounts at the end of each month.


• Monitor financial transactions and reports.


• Process accounts receivable/payable and handle payroll in a timely manner.


• Prepare and review financial statements for accuracy.


• Maintain historical records by filing documents.


• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor? degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.

Experience

Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a similar role is preferred. Candidates with experience in remote bookkeeping will have an added advantage.
