Description

CVS Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced Telemedicine Triage Nurse to join our dynamic team in delivering exceptional healthcare services through our telemedicine platform. As a Telemedicine Triage Nurse, you will play a crucial role in assessing and managing patient care remotely, ensuring that our clients receive timely, accurate, and compassionate care.

In this role, you will be responsible for performing initial patient assessments, triaging medical conditions, and providing appropriate recommendations based on clinical guidelines. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes. Requirements

1. Valid RN license in the state of practice.

2. Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital, urgent care, or primary care setting.

3. Proficiency in using telehealth platforms and electronic health records (EHR) systems.

4. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

5. Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills.

6. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

7. Reliable internet connection and a quiet, private workspace for remote duties.

Responsibilities

1. Conduct initial patient assessments via telehealth platforms.

2. Triage patient symptoms and provide appropriate medical advice or referrals.

3. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

4. Document patient interactions and maintain accurate records in the EHR system.

5. Educate patients on managing their health conditions and preventive care measures.

6. Follow up with patients to monitor progress and make necessary adjustments to care plans.

7. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with telemedicine practices and protocols.

Educational Qualifications

1. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

2. Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted with significant relevant experience.

Experience

1. Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting.

2. Experience in telemedicine or remote patient care is highly desirable.
