What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
? Respond to a wide range of provider inquiries via telephone
? Educate providers on coverage, claim submission, and available self-service offerings
? Identify customer issues, research, and initiate appropriate actions
? Communicate confidently and clearly with customers regarding their concerns
? Navigate multiple computer applications effectively
What Is Required (Qualifications)
? High School diploma or equivalent
? Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience with health insurance and/or Medicare/DME claims
? At least 1 year of customer service experience with direct telephone contact
? Ability to learn and apply Medicare guidelines and insurance terminology
? Strong problem-solving skills to identify and address customer issues
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
? 1 year of previous customer service experience at the employer
? Experience as a contracted Medicare CSR II at the employer
? 1 or more years of recent Medicare or healthcare insurance experience
? 2 or more years of call center experience
? Coursework in coding, medical terminology, or a related field
