Job Summary

Position Summary: Under the direction of the Virtual Learning Academy Principal or designee, this position promotes the use of technology and innovative approaches to virtual learning to support student achievement in grades TK-8. The virtual learning teacher is responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing the instructional program aligned to the state adopted standards and students' needs. Virtual Learning Teachers are required to participate in all staff meetings, trainings and/or sessions. Virtual Learning Teachers are expected to uphold the school's mission and shared values, philosophy, and policies and procedures.ADDITIONAL OFFERINGS:

Requirements / Qualifications

NECESSARY MATERIALS FOR APPLICATION:

• Resume
• Letters of Recommendation: Three (3) current, professional letters (at least one from a direct supervisor)
• Copy of Transcripts: Unofficial copies of all college/university transcripts
• Credential Copy: Credential Copy (Proof of valid, current, and appropriate California teaching credential as a PDF print out from CTC (copy should reflect dates of issuance and expiration)
• Test Results/Materials: Test Results/Materials, if applicable (CTC approved subject matter authorization exam scores such as the CSET, MSAT, NTE, CTEL, Praxis or equivalent)
• English Learner Authorization (If not embedded in credential, provide a copy of CLAD, CTEL or equivalent)
