Position Summary
The Call Center Representative answers a multi-line phone system and utilizes our call management software to determine the callers needs in order to route to the appropriate healthcare location. Answers calls in a positive, respectful, efficient, and professional manner which is critical to the success of our business. This position is responsible for ensuring our phone traffic is efficiently managed, including but not limited to, routing calls to the appropriate location, answering questions, updating client information, scheduling appointments, and routing crisis calls. The candidate must be capable of operating multiple web-based programs simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. The applicant must maintain accurate patient/client records and be able to schedule a variety of different appointments in our EHR. Perform other duties as assigned and serve as backup to other support positions.
The Call Center Representative is a full time, non-exempt, hourly position typically working Monday through Friday business hours (some flexibility may be offered).
Required Qualifications
? High school diploma or GED
? Minimum 1 year call center experience.
? Excellent customer service skills.
? Excellent verbal communication skills.
? Ability to direct calls and/or take messages and forward those messages to appropriate personnel, and outside agencies in a calm, logical, and positive manner.
? Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
? Ability to interact with clients and staff in a culturally competent manner that takes into account factors such as age, developmental or acquired disabilities, religion and spiritual orientation, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, sexual orientation, indigenous heritage, national origin, and gender.
? Ability to review emails and messages in multiple systems and answer calls in a timely manner.
? Perform data entry with a high level of accuracy
? Experience with and ability to use Microsoft Office software.
? Ability to use general office equipment such as multi-line phone system, personal computer, photocopier, fax, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications
? Remote call center experience
? Call Center experience in a medical or healthcare environment.
? Knowledge of answering incoming, making outgoing and transferring calls as required on a multi-line system
? Knowledge of scheduling patient appointments
? Ability to access and comprehend information to determine eligibility and/or insurance coverage
? Create, update and access confidential client data in company Electronic Health Record (EHR)
