Job Description

As the Secure Mailroom Handler, you will report to the Facilities Manager and be responsible for going to the Post Office, picking up, and processing mail to all appropriate parties.

Key Responsibilities
? Drive to the United States Postal service in company provided vehicle and receive all mail from USPS. Mail includes regular, P.O. boxes, certified, and miscellaneous packages.
? Sort, scan, log, document all mail and packages that come into the secure mailroom, and deliver accordingly
? Process outgoing mail and packages using postage machines, mailing each item correctly through USPS, FedEx, or UPS.
? Maintain logs and paperwork for follow up and tracking purposes and audit purposes.
? Help with other tasks as assigned: help deliver large crates, help with personnel moves, meeting setups and changes.

Qualifications
? High School Diploma or equivalent
? Mailroom experience
? Must have a valid driver's license
? Must pass a background check and be authorized to drive a company vehicle
? Read and write the English language
? Ability to operate an automobile.
? Ability to operate standard postage machines, printers, scanners, and copiers.
? Ability to do heavy lifting, up to 70 pounds
