What You Will be Doing: The primary purpose of this position is to provide executive level and confidential administrative support to the CIO and Deputy CIO. As the Executive Support Specialist 2, you will perform, coordinate, and oversee technical and administrative duties, including varied and complex assignments involving knowledge of change management and process improvement. You will interpret and apply policies and procedures to provide support related to non-routine and highly sensitive personnel matters. In this role, you will also coordinate communications internally and externally and perform a significant amount of detailed administrative office work in terms of correspondence, spreadsheets, presentations, and scheduling. Significant emphasis is placed on the use of good judgement and ability to provide confidential administrative support with a high level of professional courtesy and customer service interface. What We Are Looking For (Desired Attributes): Expert experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, OneNote, Adobe Sign/Creative Cloud; ability to learn and adapt to new technologies. Excellent organization, attention to detail, and time management skills related to workload and meeting management. Demonstrated experience analyzing, coordinating, and prioritizing projects, while maintaining excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to exercise independent judgment to solve problems. Commitment to valuing diversity and promoting inclusion. Required Minimum Qualifications: One year of experience performing administrative duties in support of agency projects or programs. Qualifying experience would involve data collection and analysis; project evaluation and/or analysis; interpretation and application of laws, rules, and regulations; or similar experience.
