About the Position

As the App Product Manager, you will be responsible for the strategic planning, development, and ongoing optimization of our mobile application. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, marketing, and customer support, to define the product roadmap, gather requirements, and ensure the successful execution of app features and functionalities. Your strong understanding of user needs, market trends, and technical capabilities will be instrumental in delivering a seamless and user-centric app experience.

This is a full-time position to work in an office located in Burr Ridge, IL, which is suburban of Chicago.

Responsibilities

1. Develop and execute the product strategy and roadmap for the mobile application, aligning it with the company's vision and objectives.

2. Conduct market research, user interviews, and competitive analysis to identify user needs, market opportunities, and emerging trends in the in-home health device industry.

3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and prioritize product requirements, ensuring alignment with user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility.

4. Define and document detailed product specifications, including user stories, wireframes, and acceptance criteria, to guide the development process.

5. Work closely with the design team to create intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces that enhance the app's usability and overall user experience.

6. Collaborate with the engineering team to plan and execute the development sprints, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality app features and enhancements.

7. Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and gather feedback to validate new features and ensure they meet the desired user experience and functionality.

8. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), app usage data, and user feedback to identify areas for improvement and prioritize future enhancements and updates.

9. Work closely with the marketing team to develop product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies for app releases and feature updates.

10. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory requirements to ensure the app remains compliant and competitive.

11. Collaborate with customer support to address user inquiries, concerns, and feedback related to the app's features and functionality.

12. Provide regular updates to the management team on product development progress, key milestones, and performance metrics.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, business administration, or a related field. A master's degree or additional certifications in product management are a plus.

2. Proven work experience as a Product Manager or similar role, preferably in the mobile app or healthcare industry. 3. Strong understanding of mobile app development processes, user experience (UX) design principles, and agile development methodologies.

4. Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, derive actionable insights, and make data-driven decisions.

5. Familiarity with app analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, Firebase, or Mixpanel, to track user behavior, engagement, and app performance.

6. Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

7. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners.

8. Customer-centric mindset, with a strong understanding of user needs, preferences, and behaviors.

9. Technical aptitude and the ability to communicate effectively with developers and understand technical requirements and constraints.

10. Proactive and self-motivated, with a passion for innovation, emerging technologies, and delivering exceptional user experiences.

11. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify challenges, propose solutions, and drive projects to successful completion.

12. Experience with user research and usability testing methodologies to gather insights and validate product decisions.

13. Knowledge of mobile app development platforms, frameworks, and technologies, as well as their impact on app performance and user experience.

14. Familiarity with regulatory requirements and privacy considerations in the healthcare industry.

15. Ability to effectively prioritize and manage competing priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

16. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams towards a common vision and goal.

17. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas and concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

18. Demonstrated track record of successfully launching and managing mobile app products through the entire product lifecycle.

19. Experience working with remote and distributed teams is a plus.

20. Passion for healthcare technology and a strong commitment to improving the lives of individuals through innovative digital solutions.
