Position: Data Analyst/Specialist

Overview:

The Data Analyst/Specialist will play a crucial role in driving data-driven decision making at Carlsbad Lifehouse. This new position will be instrumental in helping us grow and develop our impact as we continue to serve our community.

Responsibilities:

Data Collection:
? Gather data from various sources, including electronic health records (EHRs), clinical databases, and other relevant systems.
? Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness.

Data Cleaning and Preparation:
? Clean and prepare data for analysis, including handling missing values, outliers, and inconsistencies.
? Transform data into a suitable format for analysis.

Data Analysis:
? Utilize statistical techniques and data analysis tools to analyze data and extract meaningful insights.
? Develop and maintain data dashboards and reports.
? Identify trends, patterns, and correlations within the data.

Reporting:
? Prepare clear and concise reports that summarize data findings and provide actionable recommendations.
? Provide data to stakeholders, including state and federal agencies.
? Communicate findings to internal and external stakeholders, including leadership, executive teams, and community members.

Data Visualization:
? Create effective data visualizations (e.g., charts, graphs) to communicate complex information in a visually appealing and understandable way.

Project Management:
? Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data needs and support data-driven projects.

Quality Measures:
? Provide data to leadership and executive teams to track quality measures and identify areas for improvement.
? Analyze data to assess the effectiveness of programs and services.

Community Outreach and Engagement:
? Provide data to support community outreach and engagement initiatives.
? Analyze data to identify community needs and tailor programs accordingly.

Measurement-Based Care:
? Contribute to the development of measurement-based care processes.
? Analyze data to identify key metrics and outcomes for tracking patient progress.

Qualifications: ? Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, computer science, data science). ? Strong proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI). ? Experience with healthcare data and analytics is preferred. ? Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. ? Strong attention to detail and accuracy. ? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. ? Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Additional Skills (Preferred):
? Knowledge of healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
? Experience with data governance and data quality management.
? Familiarity with machine learning and predictive analytics.
