POSITION SUMMARY

The Manager of Radiologist Training plays a key role in the development and implementation of the onboarding and training of Radiologists at RP. The role requires experience with developing training programs, planning and facilitating training and managing the training team. The position will be responsible for training of physician and physician extenders on all RP applications and workflow. Experience with developing training materials and project management are strongly desired. The person in this role will interact at a senior level with radiologists as well as operational, IT and clinical leaders across the Practice.

POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
? Work with IT, Operations and Rad Leaders to create and implement a comprehensive onboarding and continuous training program for radiologists. This program should consist of adult learning and training elements, designed to improve the efficiency and experience of radiologists? work
? Identify and support the practice training needs by developing a program which includes documentation, basic and advanced training, e-learning simulations, and videos
? Supervise the IT Training team as lead and facilitate individual training for radiologists to establish proficiency with clinical applications. Improve radiologist experience and lead coordination of cross-functional teams to meet the established goals
? Promotes communication and cooperation among teammates to create a spirit of unity in the department
? Works closely with leadership and teammates to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention
? Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to direct reports (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
? Design and Implement programs to facilitate self-learning where radiologists can deploy techniques to achieve goals, such as use of templates, macros, hanging protocols, advanced hardware, call center support, and personal habit awareness
? Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for radiologist proficiency, workflow and experience
? Maintain in-depth knowledge and proficiency with PACS and voice rec systems by self-education, radiologist observation, and attendance of relevant trainings
? Work with internal and external SMEs on improvements to hardware, software, resource, and other personal solutions that optimize radiologist workflow
? Work with IT support teams (i.e., Clinical Tech Services, regional support managers, etc.) to optimize value and service to radiologists
? Carry out other duties, tasks, and projects, as needed, to support IT, Ops and Radiology Partners

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
? Bachelor?s or equivalent work experience
? Manager or Training experience preferred
? Excellent written and communication skills
? Proficient in Microsoft Office, including MS Work, Excel, and PowerPoint

The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $95,000. Final determinations may vary based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, geographic location, etc. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
