Responsibilities

We are seeking an enthusiastic Data Analyst to support our Health Innovation Value Enterprise (HiVE) Team. The HiVE represents our commitment to creating sustainable value-based care solutions through joint ventures and risk-bearing entities.

As a Data Analyst, Your Role Will Involve

Analyzing specialist quality and cost performance metrics, and reviewing healthcare claims data to provide valuable insights.

Performing data cleansing, validation, and quality checks to ensure accuracy and reliability.

Retrieving, organizing, and manipulating data from various databases to support reporting and analytics.

Identifying trends and patterns in provider cost and clinical quality data to inform decision-making and strategy.

Supporting the development and maintenance of operational reports and dashboards for stakeholders.

Monitoring analytical output for data integrity and resolving discrepancies.

Continuously improving data processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Communicating findings through clear, concise reports and presentations.

Assisting with project management tasks, including tracking progress and maintaining documentation.

Contributing ideas and participating actively in team meetings.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.

2-3 years of experience in data analytics or a similar role preferred.

Experience in hospital, health plan, or physician claims analytics is a plus.

Proficiency in SQL.

High proficiency with PowerPoint and Excel.

Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes preferred.

Experience with Tableau Desktop or similar visual analytics platforms preferred.

Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex concepts clearly.

Certification in data analytics or a related field is preferred.

Ability to travel 5-10% of the time for team, partner, and health plan meetings.
