ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Avoya Travel is hiring a full-time Education Specialist (Avoya Job Title: Network Enrichment Specialist).We are seeking a skilled and proactive Network Enrichment Specialist to join our team and play a vital role in organizing and facilitating educational programs within our organization. The Network Enrichment Specialist will be responsible for coordinating and executing various educational initiatives, ensuring Independent Agencies gain the knowledge needed for their business. This role requires excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as a strong understanding of educational methodologies and adult learning principles.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
Conduct educational sessions, workshops, and seminars, either in-person or through virtual platforms.
Deliver content effectively, using appropriate instructional methods to engage participants and promote active learning.
Provide support and suggestions for independent agents in delivering educational sessions.
Coordinate and schedule educational sessions ensuring adequate resources and materials are available.
Manage educational calendars and schedules, ensuring timely communication and reminders to participants.
Maintain educational records and documentation, evaluations, and completion certificates.
Collect and analyze data, such as participant feedback, assessments, and performance metrics, to measure the effectiveness of educational initiatives.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs, collecting feedback, and making recommendations for enhancements.
Assist with other tasks and/or special projects as required.
Collaborate on the design and development of educational materials, including presentations, handouts, and e-learning modules, that align with the learning objectives and target audience.
Assist with the creation of engaging and interactive educational content that incorporates various instructional techniques and multimedia elements.
Review and update existing educational materials to ensure accuracy and relevance.
Assist with other tasks and/or special projects as required.
REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES
Strong knowledge of training methodologies.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple training programs simultaneously.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in learning management systems and other educational software/tools.
Familiarity with e-learning platforms and multimedia content development.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with independent agency owners and internal departments at all levels.
Detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality educational experiences.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work well under pressure.
EXPERIENCE AND/OR EDUCATION
1 + years of work experience in a similar role, preferably within the Avoya Network
1 + years of customer service and sales background, preferably within the travel industry.
High School Diploma
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift to 15lbs at a time.
Ability to travel to home office or other locations as needed.
