Minimum qualifications: ? Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, a related field (e.g., Optics, Sensors, Audio/DSP, etc.), or equivalent practical experience. ? 2 years of experience working in a consumer hardware technical environment, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree. ? Experience with standard audio measurement and analysis tools (e.g., ACQUA, SoundCheck, Audio Precision, Audition, Matlab/Python). ? Experience with hearable audio systems (e.g., acoustics, transducers, microphones, ANC, and digital signal processing). Preferred qualifications: ? Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related field (e.g., Optics, Sensors, Audio/DSP). ? 7 years of experience with consumer hardware, producing new technology. ? Experience in hearable audio system design, tuning and validation, including ANC, transparency and playback ? Experience in objective and subjective assessment of hearables audio quality and ANC/Transparency performance. ? Experience with control theory and ANC. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $122,000-$178,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities ? Collaborate with Product, Acoustic, Algorithm, and Software teams to define and develop hearable audio systems and deliver solutions that meet key user experiences. ? Own tuning, evaluation and debugging of hearable audio algorithms, including Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), transparency, and playback. ? Be an expert in objective and subjective testing, develop tools, tuning strategies and automate new methodologies to launch hearable audio solutions. ? Validate and debug audio system software, coordinate on algorithm enhancements with developers.
