Department of Revenue is recruiting for multiple Seasonal Data Entry Operator positions. We are looking for talented, detail-oriented individuals to join our Information Technology Services Division in the Information Transcription Unit. This position is headquartered in our Salem office; however, the successful candidate may be eligible for in state hybrid work. Hybrid work consists of performing duties onsite in a standard office environment and working remotely. Please note that the training may be conducted in person for the first one to two (1-2) weeks. These are part-time, seasonal, SEIU represented positions. These positions typically work an eight-hour day shift, Monday - Friday. However, due to workload, day shift may work less than eight hours a day or 40 hours a week. Starting and ending times may vary, depending on the unit and business need. There are multiple seasonal positions available. This season runs from 03/31/2025 to 05/16/2025. Current Revenue employees who live outside of Oregon may apply and will be considered. *Note: Effective Jan. 1, 2025, the compensation plan for this position will be adjusted to reflect a Cost-of-Living Adjustment (COLA) of 6.55%. Experience should include operating electronic data entry or word processing equipment to input information from source documents; AND a keyboard (typing) speed of at least 45 words per minute. Completion of an established data entry training course using electronic data entry equipment may be substituted for up to three months of experience. The ideal candidate will possess the following desired skills and attributes: High level of accuracy. Experience processing, entering and or verifying detailed data.
