Key Responsibilities:

Plan and carry out creative, engaging learning activities based on established curriculum and developmental standards.
Support children in meeting developmental milestones through observation and personalized guidance.
Assist children with schoolwork or remote learning when needed.
Ensure a safe, supportive, and caring environment for children and families.
Supervise activities actively and provide regular communication with children, parents, and fellow staff members.
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized classroom at all times.
Adapt lesson plans and activities as needed, especially when working with floaters.

Position Hours:
Approximate work hours are 2:30/3:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with duties including working with children during the shift and ensuring the classroom is clean, organized, and sanitized at the end of the day.

Additional Roles for Floaters:
Floaters will be assigned to different classrooms based on the daily needs and will follow the lesson plans created by other teachers. Flexibility is key, as floaters may need to improvise and adapt activities based on the children's needs on any given day.

Qualifications & Skills:

Previous experience working with children in a teaching, caregiving, or instructional capacity is preferred but not required.
Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices is a plus.
Experience in curriculum or lesson planning is beneficial but not mandatory.
Comfortable interacting with children, parents, and staff in a supportive, professional manner.
Familiarity with positive discipline techniques and a flexible approach to meeting children's needs.
Ability to manage time efficiently and work with a flexible schedule.

Skills (preferred but not required):

Understanding of child development and early learning standards.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Basic computer skills for documentation and record-keeping.
Strong time-management skills to ensure effective use of work hours.
