? Review and maintain patient account accuracy regarding billing and payment records.
? Engage with patients to discuss options for resolving outstanding balances and establish feasible collection solutions.
? Adhere to company policies and procedures in the collection of payments.

Required Skills
? Exceptional communication skills to effectively engage with patients and insurance providers.
? Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
? Familiarity with EPIC and insurance payer portals for claims processing.
? Strong comprehension of payer contracts and medical terminology.
? Capable of crafting effective appeals when necessary.

Qualifications
? A minimum of 3 years of experience in hospital collections is required.
? Knowledge of hospital billing procedures, particularly within California healthcare systems.
? Demonstrated experience utilizing EPIC and payer portals for claims and payment processing.
