The Director of Marketing at RFG Advisory will be responsible for leading our marketing team and implementing strategies that will drive business development to achieve overall firm growth goals and Advisors to achieve their organic growth goals. This is a new leadership role in the firm and you will be responsible for managing two teams including content creation and marketing coordination for the firm, our Advisors and our female-focused educational platform StrongHer Money. Given that we are building our marketing and sales enablement team from the ground up, we have the opportunity to create something unique in the industry that is intentionally engineered to attract and retain our target Advisor and deliver on our commitment to an exceptional client experience.

? This position may be remote or located in Birmingham, AL office. If in Birmingham, we offer a hybrid schedule 3-days in-office, 2 days remote.

Key Responsibilities: ? Build, lead and develop a team of marketing professionals ? Provide a clear and inspiring vision for the marketing team that aligns with RFG's goals and business development strategy ? Set daily, weekly, monthly and yearly OKR targets based on business goals ? Develop a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with the company's overall business development goals and objectives ? Ensure RFG?s brand messaging, values, and positioning align with the business development strategy ? Develop and implement lead generation strategies, alongside sales team, that either: 1. acquire new Advisors to affiliate with our platform or 2. generate new retail clients for our affiliated Advisors ? Implement and manage marketing automation systems (ex: HubSpot) for the purpose of generating, distributing, managing and reporting on leads in a systematic way ? Work closely with the business development to provide them with the necessary tools, training, and materials to be more effective in their sales efforts ? Work closely with data and technology teams to design and implement workflows to maximize efficiencies and deliver transparency on results of campaigns or programs ? Create and manage robust content calendar ? Oversee the creation of high-quality, engaging content that educates, informs, and persuades the target audience (advisor or retail) across multiple channels including LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, webinars, podcasts, events, video, etc. ? Prepare and review marketing budgets and allocating resources appropriately to drive growth ? Monitor and analyze marketing performance data, providing regular reports and insights to inform strategic decisions and refine marketing efforts ? Ensure that all marketing strategies (digital, events, 1-1, email campaigns, social media, etc.) are aligned with the overall growth plan and are in constant state of being refined to reflect feedback learned in the marketplace. This might involve coordinating marketing campaigns, content creation, and lead generation efforts to support business development and coaching goals ? Foster collaboration with other teams, such as business development, transitions, ops and tech to ensure alignment with the overall business development strategy ? Monitor industry trends and competitor?s successes and share new information with the team ? Manage external vendor partner relationships for digital lead gen and PR

Requirements

Education:
? BS in marketing, branding, business, PR, or a similar field.

Experience:
? Extensive experience in a similar role
? Experience with Hubspot, LinkedIn ads, digital campaigns, search, web landing pages
? Proven history of developing brand and marketing strategies, preferably in the financial services industry
? Strong leadership skills and experience leading and growing a dynamic team of A-players
? Experience developing B2B and B2C brand and marketing strategies including digital lead generation
