Job Overview

Support marketing strategy and execution for Disney Meetings & Events business needs and assist Disney?s Fairy Tale Weddings & Honeymoons marketing team when needed. The portfolio for Disney Meetings & Events includes Walt Disney World?Resort in Florida, Disneyland?Resort in California, Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa and Disney Cruise Line. This role will assist leadership in the management and execution of the annual marketing plan, sales tools, and industry partnership needs that increase brand awareness of offerings, generate leads, and drive revenue for the meetings and gatherings events businesses for B2B and B2C business needs.

Duties will include assisting in marketing strategy development and execution, building integrated communication plans, taking the lead on social media planning and content, website management and other related content support, provide logistical and operational support for photo and video production shoots, research industry trends target audiences and other duties as assigned.

The Marketing Strategy Associate position reports to the Marketing Strategy Manager.

This is a Full-time position.

Responsibilities/You Will:

Develop and execute strategic marketing plans for portfolio of platforms and products.
Provide copywriting and communication support for advertorials, blog content and other writing assignments, as assigned to B2C and B2B client support.
Lead generation support via social channels and 1:1 engagement with consumers.
Execute various marketing tactics, as needed, to achieve sales goals.
Manage website content requests and maintenance tickets for website.
Provide guidance and approvals for Client produced marketing materials that include Disney provided IP.
Support requests to leverage existing photo and video assets for marketing or promotional purposes for B2C & B2B client needs.
Lead planning and onsite logistics for photo/video shoots on behalf of the brand for marketing and business content support.
Lead Social Media content editorial and campaigns.
Manage Collateral (print, digital, etc.) to provide sales tools that are easily accessible and useful for the team to support the sales process and improve conversion for B2C and B2B business.
Assist with ongoing reporting and analysis of key performance metrics for marketing.
Work with key inter-departmental partners as well as vendors to produce and execute tactics supporting the overall marketing strategy plan.

Basic Qualifications/You Will Have:

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in marketing strategy, sales and/or account management with a convention center or hotel, tourism agency or related brand marketing department in the hospitality industry
Experience working with multiple marketing platforms including website, social media, print, digital media, CRM, and collateral.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Mac OS, and presentation development
Ability to multi-task and meet quick deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to think strategically and make decisions based on data analysis, business needs and guest experience.
Experience with building positive inter-departmental relationships to achieve results.
Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Extensive knowledge of the Walt Disney Company
Familiarization of the Meeting, Convention and Events Industry
Experience executing CRM tactics.
Video production knowledge
Creative skills to produce engaging, relevant, and eye-catching content.
Basic design skills (Adobe Acrobat, InDesign, Photoshop)

Required Education:

Bachelor?s in Marketing, Communications, PR, Sales, or Agency experience and/or related field or industry equivalent experience.
