The OptumRx Vendor Supply Analyst is responsible for end-to-end vendor supply activities - creating, controlling, and improving business outcomes in partnership with lines of business leaders. Vendor Supply Management provides oversight to manage performance guarantees, risk mitigation, and supply optimization. Success is accomplished by establishing vendor strategies supporting business priorities... aligning both ES&P and the business on expectations and vendor options. The successful candidate must be passionate about improving vendor supply strategy, effective at collaborating in a fast-paced environment.

Provide data to support business vendor supply recommendations that aligns with OptumRx strategic prioritiesGather and/or document information on stakeholders' business requirements, specifications, and/or needsMonitor vendor supply risk evaluation and opportunities through full life cycle, discovery, governance approvals, implementation, and closureYou?ll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. Primary Responsibilities: Portfolio Evaluation and DeliveryProactively gather information on planned business changes and anticipate the vendor impact on in-year and future business requirements; to inform and influence executive decision-makingEnsure risk evaluations completed within 90 days of notification with necessary stakeholder approvalPerforms moderately complex business analysis and conducts research, analyzes/interprets information on issues, proposals, and problems to ensure that adequate data is provided to leadership for decision-making and informational purposesEnsure obtained data and information are accurate and relevant to meet stakeholder needsCoordinate program activity to drive delivery; prepare draft agendas for review; issue agendas with appropriate backup materials; take minutes and provides follow-up correspondenceMaintain workflows, document and standard operating procedures using industry standard tools and conceptsPrioritize, organize, and balance multiple demands and competing deadlinesCoordination and CommunicationWork with relevant stakeholders to establish appropriate vendor supply criteria and goalsProvide timely, accurate and concise communication to all cross-functional groupsMaintain executive reporting for clarity, simplicity, and decision-makingConduct and/or support relevant testing to validate processes and data are working as designedAssess and/or document the outcomes of business decisions and/or changesPrepare reports, presentations, verbal/written correspondences, policies, communications, procedures, and other required documentation as instructed by leadershipEstablish and maintain solid, collaborative relationships at all levels of the organization that enable strategic decisions and positive outcomesProfessional DeliveryWork independently and take initiative, under the direction of department leaders and with the support of vendor supply community of practiceDevelop solid trusting relationships with ORx business leaders to influence with fact-based vendor supply recommendations aligned to strategic goalsContinually works to understand the complexity within functions, across the businessDemonstrate effective situational leadership, quick and continuous learning style, and lead a culture of continuous improvementAttends educational offerings to keep abreast of change and comply with position requirementsCoach, provide feedback, and guide othersYou?ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications: 4+ years of relevant work experience (ideally in the vendor management industry)3+ years of experience as a portfolio coordinator and/or project management experienceProficiency with Microsoft Office applications to include Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and Outlook required. Working knowledge of Share PointDemonstrated ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely (excellent oral and written skills)Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor?s DegreeHealthcare / Pharmacy Industry experienceExperience with senior leadership communications and presentationsExperience analyzing data, against strategic implications, and determining their impact, to develop appropriate action plansCompliance and Risk mitigation acumenContract and/or RFP acumenCareers with Optum.
