Numerade is excited to bring on Contract Educators to join our mission. The Contract Educators will be a part of our content team and produce and review excellent STEM video lessons for our student users. During your three month contract, you will be responsible for creating short whiteboard video lessons aligned to your STEM area of expertise and reviewing other videos for accuracy and quality.
In this role, you?ll get to:
? Help students learn and succeed in their STEM studies
? Create short videos showing students how to solve STEM problems
? Utilize creative teaching, technology, and problem solving strategies
? Review videos and provide feedback to educators
? Expand your own knowledge of STEM topics as you teach others
? Enjoy a flexible work day and work week
? Build relationships with other Numerade educators
You?ll Bring:
? At least 3 years of teaching and/or tutoring experience
? College-level expertise in Physics, Statistics, or Calculus
? Approximately 40 hours of work time within a 7-day week
? The ability to instruct students in a dynamic and supportive manner while keeping the videos engaging
? Whiteboard video creation experience and equipment - will need a stylus and/or tablet
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills; excellent handwriting on screen
? A critical eye for content accuracy and overall pedagogy

? Excited to create exceptional STEM video lessons
? A college-level expert in 2+ STEM subjects
? Self motivated to complete weekly assignments with minimal check-ins
