Order Fulfillment Specialist

Job Summary:

The primary role of this position is to safely and efficiently load and unload freight, while also sorting it according to the purchase order (PO) and SKU. The individual will be using a radio frequency (RF) gun to locate and select merchandise for shipment to stores, scanning boxes, opening cases, and placing them on the correct conveyor for sorting. They will also pack single and... multiple customer orders and put correct shipping labels onto packages before putting them on the correct conveyor for shipment. Additionally, they will induct apparel and footwear onto the tilt trays and pack products sorted by the tilt trays for shipment to stores. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, and the pay rate is $14.94 per hour. Full-time hours are available with the first shift being from Monday to Friday, covering the morning to afternoon hours, and the second shift being from Sunday to Thursday, covering the afternoon to evening hours. Responsibilities: ? Essential job functions may be performed by individuals with disabilities when provided with reasonable adjustments. ? Acquire the skills required to use an RF scanner proficiently and error-free. ? Timely and accurate execution of merchandise packaging is an essential factor in managing incoming orders to fulfill the requirements of customers and stores. ? Relocate the merchandise for processing and pack it in boxes and shift the goods for shipping. ? Devotion to Company and OSHA Safety Regulations. ? Procedures must be precisely followed when dealing with Return To Vendor, returned and liquidation items. ? Expertise in adapting to a fast-paced work environment. ? Proficiency in the areas of reading comprehension, writing, business mathematics, and data analysis is a prerequisite. ? Raises concerns to the appropriate personnel such as the supervisor, manager, safety director or HR manager. ? Adheres to the standard operating procedures and protocols outlined during the introductory and training sessions.

Complete mastery of multiple communication methods is an essential skill for this position. ? Able to transport articles up to 40 pounds in weight with occasional support, covering a distance of 25 feet or more, as required. ? Associates may need to temporarily adapt to varying physical demands while working in other locations due to business requirements.
